Again I was in the UK for a business trip and based on my previous preparation for the Durdle Door pictures done trough the Southwestcoastpath website I knew I wanted to come back to the Jurassic Coast and especially to Kimmeridge Bay.
All I mentioned in terms of equipment in my Durdle Door post counts for this trip as well.
The challenge again was the weather. It was a sunny and beautiful day with no clouds. When I headed out to the coast with a 45 min. car ride ahead of me a few clouds started to cover the sky. I could not believe my luck! But as luck has it – it always comes different then what you’d expect. When I got to the planned spot I quickly had to learn that not only the weather along the coast does not behave as it does in Switzerland – all the clouds were gone – but at the ocean there are tides to consider as well. Stupid me – I didn’t even think of that before hand, so I just had to accept the situation the way it was. The conditions were far from ideal but who am I to complain and not to take at least a few shots when driving close to two hours both ways.
Here is what I managed to get. Hope you enjoy my Kimmeridge Bay pictures.
