Uhhh … this was an exciting vintage car shoot. Not only did I have the opportunity to shoot to beautiful cars but I could do it in an outrageous location.
The shooting was quite challenging as it was freezing cold in the derelict building and the light conditions were quite challenging too. The reflections in a place like this are basically uncontrollable, so one better gets used to that fact right off the bet and tries to make the best of it. Allmost all photos where shot with multiple pictures and composing of sorts for the final image. We worked mainly with one or two strip-lights that we moved around the car to get some rim lighting.
That goes for the car shooting in the old steel factory. All the vintage cars and the Vespa have bee shot at different occasions and locations. None of the shooting were done in a studio. So lighting is always a challenge because of all the reflections involved with shiny surfaces.
Well you best check out the results here and see if you like them!
